Wellness vs. Suppression
Regardless of your symptoms or condition, the only way to restore your health and truly feel well again is for your body to heal itself and regain a state of homeostasis (balance). Yet most people have the mistaken belief that masking or suppressing their symptoms with drugs or surgery is somehow healing their body or making them healthy. In reality, the suppression of symptoms with medications only drives them deeper into the body, which leads to more serious health problems and chronic illnesses. Even the World Health Organization in 1984 stated "Health is a state of complete mental, social and physical well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."
At BioNRG Healing & Massage Therapy, we recognize that symptoms are a necessary part of the healing process and restoration of homeostasis. For example, symptoms of a flu (fever, sweating, achiness and fatigue) are the way in which your body flushes out toxins as it's restoring balance. Symptoms should be respected and managed during a healing process, not suppressed or driven deeper into the body to cause chronic illnesses. Hippocrates, "The Father of Medicine" said, "We call them diseases but symptoms are the cure of diseases." So the real issue or problem isn't having symptoms during a time when the body is healing or restoring homeostasis. It's when symptoms persist or become severe because the body struggles to heal and is unable to regain balance. Chronic physical or emotional stress blocks the flow of vital life force energy to the brain and body, and prevents the body from healing to its potential and maintaining homeostasis. This, along with having too great of a toxic load in the body and lack of proper nutrition, is the root cause to most diseases.
Our unique method of wellness care allows us to locate and release deep chronic physical or emotional stress that blocks the flow of vital life force energy to the brain and body. Having a free flow of vital life force energy, along with proper nutrition and rest, will allow the body to heal and maintain balance at its god-given potential. And when true healing occurs, some individuals may experience retracing (old emotions, injuries, or problems come to the "surface" to be expressed and released). Others may have a vivid dream or notice a cleansing as the body detoxes (diarrhea, rash , or slight fever). Retracing and other symptoms of true healing are generally mild and only temporary. To that end, the wellness care given is intended to maximize your body's ability to heal itself and express optimal health, and not to treat or suppress your symptoms or disease.
